Wednesday

A beautiful seawall walked kept me calm and occupied through the centre of the day. This time of year, every year, I am so strong—as I say—from the waist down. I walked three hours today ending with as strong and quick a pace as when I began.

Tonight is my first class of teaching. It is a three-hour lecture. I will have a microphone and I find I speak better once I get going, but I am very nervous. At least, after a cloudy but warm day, it has cleared and the sun is radiant as I head off to work. I like going to work in sunshine.

And so begins my last term of teaching.
