Miracles happen. I have my iPad with me – my own iPad, not the iPad that I use for speech generation -and I figured out how to post on my blog. So this is just a quick note to say that I arrived blissfully and safely, and I am staying in a palace where my friends Jess and Todd live. They are coming to see the show tonight, and we’re hoping to leave right after my monologue and go to dinner together at a nice restaurant.
Technical rehearsal was rather loosey-goosey last night, but I got most of my cues clear and I was able to leave early and come to Jess and Todd‘s place in daylight. We had a lovely visit last night. Your house is stunning and a really pleasant place for me to relax ahead of Tonight Show. More soon…
