Late Saturday Afternoon

Lois and I and a Diplomat Cake on
opening night.
The penultimate performance on a stunning night. The beauty of the weather probably means a tiny audience but I truly don't care. So far, they have all been small but nearly all have been warm and very receptive of this theatrical hybrid.

I am heading out, happy. Then I will come home to watch some TV as I wind down and then tomorrow is the ultimate show—a matinée, after which comes the strike and then champagne with John and Bunny and dinner at Bishop's.

Then comes the rest of my life for which I have no plans except to go to Victoria for a day or two and then, perhaps, back east.
