This is what heaven looks and tastes like. It is a Mutsu apple, created in Japan in 1930 and released commercially in 1948. It is a cross between a Golden Delicious and Indo apples and it is the most delicious apple I have ever eaten. I was offered one to taste at the Farmer's Market last week and loved it. Today, I went back to get a dozen more today. They are a delicious mixture of the sweetness of the Golden Delicious and tartness as you find in a Granny Smith. Mmmmmm!!
