Sunday

Yesterday was a classic Sunday—slow and easy. In the morning, friends John and Bunny came by to borrow my European cell phone to use during their vacation in Italy and in the afternoon, several friends who cared for Chris Adkins during his passing had one of our memorial "salons" in the bar of the Sylvia Hotel.

It was a lovely sunny day (with some clouds) but it was cooler than it has been of late. It was definitely a Fall day, but the flowers in our gardens continue to impress. Dahlia season is in full bloom.
