I made this dessert for tonight. The cake layers are slices of the Apple cake I took off the individual mini-cakes I made for tomorrow night. They were too large to serve cut off the bottom of each cake and layered the offcuts with maple/vanilla whipped cream and sprinkled icing sugar on top. I call it Waste Cake because it is made of offcuts. I made two of them.
