Rain!

Our morning walk with our friends yesterday was one very wet walk in the rain. The uphill sections killed and overheated me. I was soaking wet from sweat so I was very glad to get home and shower. But the walk was lovely anyway, because of all the greenery bursting out everywhere, and because it was so lovely and mild.

Shortly after getting home, the rain stopped, and the sun came out—but not for very long. But at least there was no more rain. We went into the village to do some grocery shopping and then we came home, and I had a lovely long nap. Once back on my feet, I did my taxes and took them into the village to mail, then Her Highness and I went to Rollo Park to play fetch, thereby helping H.H. to lose some weight.

In the late afternoon, I did my taxes and mailed them off to my accountant’s office. I was very happy to get that done, and next, I’m going to work on a letter of representation and notes for my executor and get my car insurance.

Aviation analytic firm OAG reports that flight bookings from Canada to the US are down 70% from the same time last year. I love hearing all the problems arising from Trumps unnecessary trade war.

It’s wet, mild and Gabriola Disposal arrived to collect all the trash from Grayson’s clean up while I was having my morning shower. My day was off to a rushed start.
