Sunday was a good day because Her Highness spent the entire day without any bandage or sock, and not only that, she and I did two decently long walks together. She has one foot still on the mend, but I see satisfying progress. As for me, I slept or simply laid down to rest most of the day, and I went to bed at eight because I was exhausted. I was content all day, but I miss the boundless energy of times past, and all the energy I put into crafting and drawing.
My friend, Bruce, booked a European vacation plus a visit to New York on his way home, but he has changed his ticket (at considerable expense) to avoid going to the US. I’m proud of him and everyone else who’s personal protest may have an impact. There are far, far more of us than ‘them.’
It's wonderfully mild this morning but overcast and rain is due this afternoon. This will be a very slow and easy week, I hope to walk with our friends on Wednesday and/or Friday. But once past, next week begins with my appointment with Dr. Chen on Monday morning.
I really hope that there’s an uptick in my energy levels if there is a medical intervention stemming from the findings of my test. It’d be wonderful to have more energy, especially with the good weather on the way.

Netflix should be renamed to Psychopath TV. A hit show on the streaming channel right now is about a social media influencer who posted all over social media about her brain tumor and other cancers, focusing on how she rejected traditional therapies and cured herself with healthy eating. And of course, she solicited donations—lots and lots of them!
There are a bazillion shows with titles like, I Murdered my Mother, The Worst Ex Ever, and Mary Kills People, and lots of shows about scandals, murders, and abductions, but mostly murder. Of course, there are many shows that aren’t about horrible things, there are a bazillion movies about falling in love, but most of them seem rather dreadful too. Sigh. Thank God for Kanopy.

When I have a medical appointment, I get a TAP (Transportation Assistance Program) form from the clinic that allows me to travel free on the ferry, so that’s when I go shopping for essential staples, and I go for sushi, or I buy some from Quality Foods to bring home. Sometimes, I go to a nice restaurant, and sometimes I get a burger. I love a good burger every once in a while.
