Sunday was wonderful. H.H. and I walked early in the morning, and then I came home and watered every single plant. Then, I weed whacked two sections of the backyard: the lawn that grows over the septic field, and the grassy section right beside the courtyard. Both sections are those you see when you come into the backyard by the driveway gate. Plus, I weed whacked and swept up the courtyard, so Pinecone Park looks awfully good right now.
After lunch, I damaged by back bending over to weed all the dandelions out of the Spanish Moss that I love so much. It grows along the sides of the paving stone path to the forest gate. Now the path looks much, much nicer, but I must be careful with my back today.
I worked all day long, from seven in the morning until three in the afternoon when I took H.H. to Elder Cedar to walk. No sooner had we started walking, when I heard a whistle. It was Eoin and François with their dogs, so we walked the Elder Cedar trail together. It was very nice to have their company.
When we got home, it was time to eat and then, of course, it was couch time for me while all the pets slept. At nine, I was so tired that I went to bed. But what a great day. Pinecone Park is looking amazing, and I am chuffed that I am feeling stronger and that I am getting so much done every day. Plus, of course, I enjoyed having Grayson around all day.
Today is overcast with light clouds. The weather is changing. Endless sunshine is over and now will have some variable weather. There may be some showers tomorrow evening. I hope there are!
