Saturday, it rained all morning. The afternoon was cloudy, but it slowly got brighter and brighter. I ate too much during the day because there was precious little to do, and I napped twice and had good long rests. In the afternoon, I took Her Highness to a favourite trail, but she was having none of it. She would not walk, so we went to Rollo where she loves to play fetch and that went well.
Today is My Day. It’s glorious and sunny and it’s likely to be beautiful all week. I’ll have to get back to watering, but not today after all yesterday’s rain. So, I shall putter in the garden and have a slow, easy day. I may nap in the sun briefly, and I may read more of Margaret. I’ll do whatever I desire all day.
