"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade."
Party tricks by Tonto.
I strongly
believe I can intuit what not to say when I speak Tonto. I feel I am getting
better at avoiding “roadblock” words. I feel like a detective recording these issues like clues.
- I can say, “cars are,” but not, “car is.”
- I can say, “thank you,” but not, “thank you for….”
- I can say, “I go” (with a little “hiccup” before the “g”), but not, “I am going.”
- If I want, I can say the word “think” easily. But I can’t say a phrase that begins with the word, “think.”
- I can’t say “forever,” but I can say “for ever.”
- I can say “brain” as one word; I can say, “my new brain,” but I can’t say “my brain.”
