Accessibility | I’m Not Remarkable

This is an ad for Apple products. My God, it made me feel good to see it. Listen to the lyrics or you’ll miss much of its power.

The fun on Friday began, as it does every Friday, with a video. I am a subscriber to a YouTube channel run my two young Dutch men who moved to southern France. Simon and Bram bought a derelict farm with Simon’s parents and each week I watch their video which tells me all that they did during the previous week.

They got started by converting the former home of the farmers into two homes: one for Simon’s parents and one for the two boys and their daughter, Nox. Currently, they are building a huge greenhouse and converting a huge barn into three apartments that they will rent out as B&B’s or as the permanent residence of someone. The three apartments will be their source of income in their new home.

I love seeing all they’ve done, and I love seeing them. They are both charming and Bram is a miracle worker. He will take on any challenge. He’s the one to fix engines, do the welding, he does all the electrics and plumbing, and he’s tireless. If I was younger and without neurological problems, I’d be making plans to visit them and stay in their B&B in the future.

Once all the dishes were done, and I’d finished watching their video, Her Highness and I went walking before the rain started. Then we went into the village to shop before coming home for lunch, and then I got onto the chaise to read for a while under my electric blanket. Oh, how I love to be so cozy and warm while I read beside the large window that creates a cool downdraft.

I didn’t miss my Zoom meeting with Aidan because I used the alarm on my Apple watch to remind me. What a great little device this watch is turning out to be!

At 14:00, I Zoomed with Aidan. I cannot believe how much I love the guy! I always thoroughly enjoy talking with him and I get very excited about our future together building up SPACE. He wanted to go over our plan to create SPACE memberships. My first board meeting is tomorrow.

I’m worried about Freddy. He’s scary thin and pukes a lot. I took him to the vet a while back because he was howling like he was in pain after he ate. She told me to switch to wet food which I’ve done, and I’m feeding him more often in hopes of fattening him up. He seems fine but I love him so, so much that I fear for him being so skinny. Sigh.

Last night was the usual.
