We walked in the rain twice. Much of my day was preparing for the SPACE board meeting and undertaking considerable SPACE correspondence. The day flew by and as with Saturday, we huddled ‘round the fire while the rain pelted down.
The board meeting was wonderful. We’re moving positively to creating memberships for SPACE which will enable people to get involved with SPACE and it will earn SPACE some unrestricted income to help with operational expenses. I love my work with SPACE.
In the evening, I turned on the Golden Globes but quickly lost interest. I’ve become put off by award shows because I see things like Adrian Brody. What a narcissistic twat he was on the Oscars last year, ignoring the time limit and speaking endlessly in a transparently self-serving and embarrassing speech.
Today has dawned very mild. I lit a fire anyway because everyone except Sheba loves being toasty warm in Winter. We may walk with our friends this morning if it doesn’t pour down as it did last night. And the rest of the day will be spent reading and puttering.
