Wednesday was uneventful because I was stuck at home waiting for my Tezspire to arrive and I had no power from 9:00 to 16:30. Hydro had a scheduled outage yesterday to do work on our grid somewhere.
I had to leave home early to go to Life Labs. It opens at 8:00, but there is always a line-up of people wanting service and they only take a few walk-ins, so I left at 7:15 and I was able to get my blood taken.
Then I came home to walk Her Highness and to read. Thankfully, the Tezspire arrived at 13:00, so I was able to go into the village and do some essential shopping and to have a lovely walk with Her Highness during a few minutes in the day when there was sunshine.
Dinner was lovely because I have such delicious leftovers.
Today there’ll be more reading, and I must do some prep for Saturday. I shall Zoom with Aidan late in the afternoon. It was cloudy and damp all day yesterday, but we had no rain. Today is predicted to be brighter. I may get to install the plants Pete brought to me today.
I’m dreading all the activity of the coming weekend. I’m really dreading it because I’m worried about Sheba spending so much time alone in the car on Saturday while this gig that I’m doing happens. I know that she’ll be okay. I shall go out to visit with her as often as I can, but I’m not keen about leaving her for so long. Sigh.
I’ve a lot of emails to answer too! Damn.
