Allan Zinyck is playing the all the men's parts in Trudeau. I am delighted. He is a great actor and particularly adept at comedy. He went to acting school with my buddy Dwight and many years ago I met him a few times because is partner, Peter, was a gardener at the UBC botanical gardens.
So it is Lois Anderson and Allan and I onstage and Kim directing. I feel "fully loaded" with this team. Allan and Lois are seasoned performers and Kim excels at working with new or experimental scripts.
The workshop is now on Monday March 23rd—almost two months to the day ahead of rehearsals starting so I have lots of time to make any changes that come from the reading, make all the wigs and props that get fixed and to memorize my lines.
