How apt is
working with cardboard on Boxing Day?
That’s what I’m
doing while I wait for the Humphreys. I did some of the roof and I’m pleased
with it. Working with paper is very pleasant work compared to working on the
fence in the cold and with a lot of bending over and noise (the hammering). It’s
supposed to hover around zero for the coming week so I’m likely to finish Mertz Manor just as life gets back to
normal after New Year’s. That’s when work on the studio resumes. Then I get to
move in!
