Hikaru Dorodango

Hikaru dorodango are balls of mud, molded by hand into perfect spheres, dried, and polished to an unbelievable luster. The process is simple, but the result makes it seem like alchemy. This is something I plan to try. The balls in the photos below are by New Mexico artist, Bruce Gardiner. The different colours come from the use of different soils
