Late Saturday Afternoon

Lois and I and a Diplomat Cake on
opening night.
The penultimate performance on a stunning night. The beauty of the weather probably means a tiny audience but I truly don't care. So far, they have all been small but nearly all have been warm and very receptive of this theatrical hybrid.

I am heading out, happy. Then I will come home to watch some TV as I wind down and then tomorrow is the ultimate show—a matinĂ©e, after which comes the strike and then champagne with John and Bunny and dinner at Bishop's.

Then comes the rest of my life for which I have no plans except to go to Victoria for a day or two and then, perhaps, back east.
