Anxious!

I received Christine, Steve and Patrick’s text for the TED submission. They wrote it in the first person “for” me in a way that was not entirely comfortable and when I heard from my friend Dianne who attended my Flame speech like them, she felt as I did.

So I changed the voice and edited it heavily and wrote back to them and I have heard nothing since. I am living in a very uncomfortable state thinking I may have offended such nice strangers.

Their choice to write “for” me instead of about the impact of my speech on them may be the result of a misunderstanding. All I am do is worry and it will continue until I hear from them, I guess.

I sure hope this doesn’t all end badly. This was their idea.
