It's hot. I went to the beach but I can't stand stopping so I just walked back until the heat got to me. I am having dinner with a friend and want to be awake.

I got rejected as a "Straight Choice" in the Georgia Straight. I got a dignified, straight-forward answer to my query: "You don’t have an established rep as a theatre artist, and there’s a lot of competition for those Straight Choices slots.  Because of those factors, I won’t be pitching your show for a Straight Choice."
