Storm a'Comin'

And this is my slight contribution for today ....

Sunday nights rock! The Great Canadian Baking Show, Call the Midwife (but not last night—more fundraising by PBS), Grantchester and A Suitable Boy, all by a roaring fire. The day was spent reading The Gathering (Booker Prize) and liking it.

Today begins with a group dog walk, then some shopping for more sushi-grade Tuna and some spectacular Nanuk Salmon, and then back to reading. Same old, same old. 

It’s cold this morning; the house was freezing when I awoke, so before I even fed the pets, I lit the fire. We were told to expect another storm today—more heavy rain, but it’s not raining so far. It’s quite windy, though, so I’m mentally preparing for another power failure.
